MDOT meeting set for Monday

There will be a public meeting regarding the U.S. 12 project in Berrien County.
A public open house to discuss the U.S. 12 project in the villages of Three Oaks and Galien with Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) staff is set for 3 to 6 p.m. Monday, June 2, Julie Hurley of the MDOT Office of Communications announced Friday.
The meeting takes place at Three Oaks Library, 3 N. Elm St., Three Oaks.

MDOT will resurface nearly eight miles of U.S. 12 from Elm Street to west of Dayton Road in Three Oaks and Galien.
This $4 million project also includes intersection improvements, drainage work, guardrail upgrades and non-freeway sign replacement.
Work begins on Tuesday, June 3, and is expected to be completed by late October.
During this meeting, MDOT staff will be available to answer any questions about this upcoming work.
