Three arrested from house on Wayne Street

NILES – Three suspects were arrested following a narcotics search at 7:15 a.m. on Friday, May 23 at 1125 Wayne St. Niles.
The search warrant was executed by the Berrien County Sheriff Department's Narcotics Unit with assistance from the Berrien County Sheriff Department's Niles Township Road Patrol and the Niles City Police Department, following a two-week long investigation.
During the execution of the search warrant, the officers located the subjects inside of the residence and seized approximately $300 worth of crack cocaine and other evidence of narcotic trafficking.
Under the State of Michigan's Civil Forfeiture Law, the officers seized $207 in U.S. Currency and a 1988 Oldsmobile.
One juvenile child was also inside of this residence at the time of the search warrant execution.This juvenile was turned over to the custody of family members.
The three arrested subjects were lodged at the Berrien County Jail pending their arraignments in the Berrien County Trial Courts on their respective charges.
Arrested was Adrian Deshaun Thomas, 26, of the Wayne Street address.
He was charged with possession of cocaine with the intent to deliver second offense, maintaining a drug house second offense and parole violation detainer.
Also arrested was James Edward Woods, Jr., 20, also of the Wayne Street address. He was charged with possession of cocaine with the intent to deliver and maintaining a drug house.
The third suspect arrested with the same address was Latoya A. McNair, 25.
She was charged with maintaining a drug house.
