Levi and Mary Chapman of Argus, Ind. announce the engagement of their daughter, Leanna Coleman to Brett Hardesty, son of Linda and Bill Carter of Niles and Larry Hardesty of Portland, Ore.
The bride-to-be attended North Liberty High School of North Liberty. She is employed by Tru Blu of Niles.
The grandparents of the bride-to-be are Earl and Shirley Bailey of Elkhart, Ind.
The prospective groom attended Niles High School, Niles and Southwestern Michigan College in Dowagiac. He is currently self-employed. Grandparents of the groom are Mick Burnett and the late Gordon Burnett of Niles and Mary Rider of Mishawaka, Ind.
Wedding vows will be exchanged at 1 p.m. on June 7, 2008, at New Apostolic Church in Niles with a reception to follow at the church's hall.
