The engagement of Heather (Graham) Sander of Chassel and Christian Fitzgerald, also of Chassel, is announced.
A wedding is planned for Aug. 23, 2008, at SS. Peter and Paul Lutheran Church, Hancock.
The bride-elect's parents are Ken (Michele) Graham of Niles and Elizabeth Graham of Niles.
She is a Niles Senior High School graduate of 1995,U.S. Marine Corps (1995-1999), and Palomar College, San Marcos, Calif. in 2001.
She is the administrative assistant at BHK Child Development Board, Houghton.
The prospective groom is the son of Steve and Ruth Fitzgerald, Atlantic Mine.
He also graduated from Niles Senior High School in 1995 and Michigan Tech University in 1999.
He is a mechanical engineer with Keweenaw Research Center, Calumet.
