John and Jacquelyn Hagley

The lives of John Robert Hagley and Jacquelyn Gale (Gosline) Hagley will be celebrated May 19, 2012, at 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 132 S. Oak St. in Buchanan. Please join the family for fellowship in the church basement following the service.
Mr. Hagley was born May 27, 1928 to Fred and Gladys Hagley of Buchanan. He graduated from Buchanan High School and worked for Clark Equipment Company for 24 years before going to work for Tyler Refrigeration, where he retired in 1985 after several years.
Mrs. Hagley was born on March 16, 1930, to Leland and Pauline Gosline of Niles. She graduated from Niles High School and Western Michigan College and worked for Clark Equipment Company, where she retired in 1985 after more than 30 years.
The Hagleys were married May 13, 1950, and lived in Buchanan until retiring in 1985 to Zephyrhills, Fla., where they enjoyed retirement and plenty of golf until their deaths.
Mrs. Hagley passed away June 16, 2011, and Mr. Hagley passed away Feb. 12, 2012.
The Hagleys are survived by their son, Timothy (Kathy) Hagley, of Buchanan and their daughter, Teresa Hagley, of Jacksonville, Fla. The Hagleys are also survived by their sisters, Mary Ann (Hagley) Fox of Lakeland, Fla., and Barbara (Gosline) McKinney of Zephyrhills, Fla.; two grandsons, Ryan Hagley of Buchanan and Justin (Jay) Hagley of Jacksonville; one granddaughter, Kasey Griffin-McBeth of Buchanan; and three great-grandchildren.
One son, Thomas John, preceded them in death in 2007.
