The Rev. Irvin L. Bame, 87, of Cassopolis, and retired pastor of the First Church of God, Edwardsburg, died at his home at 4 a.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2007, after an extended illness.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, June 17, at 1:30 p.m. at the First Church of God in Edwardsburg, 68740 East St. The Rev. John Lohr, pastor, officiated.
Burial was in Edwardsburg Cemetery with the Edwardsburg American Legion and the local V.F.W., as well as the U.S. Army Honor Guard, doing a graveside rite.
