Cass topples Centreville in non-league contest

The host Cassopolis Rangers outscored Centreville 23-0 in the first quarter Saturday to cruise to a 58-46 non-conference victory.
The win improved the Lady Rangers overall record to 9-3.
Cassopolis led 37-13 at halftime and 44-22 heading into the final eight minutes of play.
Michelle James led the Lady Rangers with 15 points, three rebounds and five steals. Dee Dee Hawkins added 10 points, nine rebounds and four blocks, while Tiffany Williams had eight, eight rebounds and three steals. Nikitas Nelson chipped in with seven points.
