Recently the "First Annual Cass County Children's Foster Care Christmas Carnival" was held. The children and their foster parents / relative caregivers enjoyed pizza, popcorn, games, crafts, balloon animals, and so much more.
On behalf of the Cass County Department of Human Services we would like to thank all the generous benefactors who made this event such a success.
We would like to thank the McLoughlin Family Foundation, Lyons Industries, Cass County Youth Council, Cass County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), Cass County Family Court, Sumnerville Community Grange, Ross/Beatty High School, George King (balloon man), Prosecutor Fitz, Alpha Upson Master Chapter of Beta Phi Sorority, Kappa Beta Sorority, Judge and Mrs. Phillipson, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Atkinson, Cass County DHS staff members, Cassopolis United Methodist Church, Niles Girl Scout Troop 752, private citizens, and numerous local attorneys.
We would like to give special thanks to the Lovely Lilac Ladies of Edwardsburg for providing many games, goodies, and prizes! Also of special thanks to Niles Girl Scout Troops 796 / 727 / 728 for their volunteering at the event serving food and helping with games.
