If you missed Santa on Saturday and did not get a chance to help decorate downtown on Sunday, you have more chances to join in as Niles prepares for the holiday season.
This Saturday, residents of the community will get a chance to celebrate the Holiday Homecoming with the annual Lighting of Downtown Niles.
Santa will arrive at dusk to help light downtown Niles, shops will be open late for early Christmas shopping and the Niles Academy of Performing Arts, NAC Orchestra and HUB Carolers will provide entertainment. Refreshments and free carriage rides will be available.
On Monday, Nov. 26 at 1 p.m., members of the Four Flags Garden Club will be at the Niles Train Depot getting everything decorated for the holidays. The lighting of the Depot will take place on Saturday, Dec. 1 at 6 p.m. The 16th annual Hometown Christmas Celebration at the Depot will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
Another chance to see Santa will take place on Dec. 6, 13 and 20 atthe Fisher Building, 306 E. Main Street from 5 to 7:30 p.m.
Get in the spirit this holiday season and join in the celebration with residents of your own community!
