Donald L. Nelson, 86, of South 13th Street, Niles, died at 8:50 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2007, at Riveridge Manor, Niles, following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, at Halbritter Funeral Home, Niles, with the Rev. Wade Panse of First United Methodist Church, Saint Joseph officiating.
Burial will follow at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens, Niles, where full military honors will be performed by American Legion Post No. 51, Buchanan.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice At Home.
