Lady Bobcats rally to defeat Constantine

NILES – Despite a slow start, the host Brandywine varsity volleyball team pulled out a four game victory over Constantine Monday night in non-conference play.
The Lady Bobcats dropped the opening game to the Lady Falcons 25-13, but stormed back to win the match 25-18, 25-19 and 27-25.
"It was a team effort by everyone," Brandywine coach Sara Eaton said.
Jenna Harris had 12 kills and an ace to lead Brandywine offensively.
The Lady Bobcats also got seven kills, six blocks and an ace from Katie Smallwood and six kills, an ace and 87 assists from Emily Low.
Lauren Leonard finished the night with four kills and two aces. Kendra Zache added two kills, a block and an ace, while Ashley Light had two kills and Adrianna Rudlaff had a kill and two aces.
Freshmen Volleyball
The Lady Bobcats defeated Constantine 25-17 and 25-19.
Allie Harris and Haley Whitehead both had four aces, while Kelsey Prestly and Morgan Smallwood finished with two kills.
JV Volleyball
Brandywine completed the sweep with a 26-24 and 25-15 win over the Lady Falcons in junior varsity action.
Stephanie Anderson was credited for her hitting and serving, while Monica Williams and Kaley Jones were singled out for their setting.
