Buchanan tennis team plays to draw with ‘Dogs

VICKSBURG – Visiting Buchanan won three out of four doubles flights to forge a 4-4 tie with Vicksburg in a non-conference match on Thursday.
The Bucks lone victory in singles competition came at the first flight where Jamie Whitfield defeated Ben DiPisa 6-4 and 6-3.
Harper Sulier and Grayson Oake defeated Aaron Frueehauf and Adam Tabor at No. 1 doubles 6-3 and 6-3, while at No. 2 doubles, Max Gorton and Holly Lucas defeated David Weatherford and Matt Sponseller 60- and 7-5.
Buchanan's No. 3 doubles team of Taylor Toney and Tyler Siebert defeated Cory Hnilo and Matt Houtkooper 6-2 and 6-4 to force the tie.
Buchanan is now 5-2-1 on the season, while Vicksburg is now 4-4-2.
