Weedon finishes 17th at Jackson Invitational

NILES – The Bobcats of Brandywine did not have enough runners to field full squads at the Jackson Invitational on Saturday.
Hanover-Horton won the boy's division with 55 points. Albion was second with 93 points.
James Hughes of Manchester was the overall winner with a time of 15:57.9.
Tyler Weedon led the Bobcats with a 17th place finish and a time of 17:57. Aaron Sieting was 66th (20:53) and Tom Buzzard 80th (24:31).
Jackson Vandeercook Lake was the winner of the girl's division with 68 points. Kalamazoo Hackett was second with 86 points.
Cayla Nausain of Concord was the overall winner with a time of 19:08.6.
Ashley Harrell finished 44th with a time of 23:41. Jodenne Ferenczi was 62nd with a time of 26:28.
