The Berrien County Republican Women’s Club will host its first general
meeting of 2012 at noon March 21 at Pebblewood Restaurant in
Bridgman.

The meeting will feature the co-founders of the Baroda
Support Our Troops Festival — Carle Post, president, and Chris Petty,
vice president of the organization’s committee. These very ambitious
co-founders took it upon themselves to organize and present the event last
July. Their success in doing so far exceeded all expectations. They will
speak on how the idea came about, the involvement of the many
organizations in the county, the overall success of fundraising and how
the funds were distributed. They are now planning the second annual
festival for this summer.

The public is welcome.
