Rodts wins at Bangor

NILES – The Niles girls' cross country team finished sixth at the Bangor Invitational behind the running of Madie Rodts, who won the individual championship with a time of 20:15.
St. Joseph took the team title with 86 points, while Hastings was second with 100 points and Buchanan third with 112 points.
Hopkins and Parchment were fourth and fifth with scores of 117 and 144 respectively. Niles finished with 149 points.
Buchanan's Torie Eger took third overall with a time of 20:33. Elizabeth Hein, also of Buchanan, finished sixth with a time of 21:02, while Niles' Liz VandenHeede was 10th with a time of 21:41.
Bangor won the boys' team championship with 33 points. St. Joseph was second with 62.
Andrew Fuentes of Bangor was the individual winner with a time of 16:34.
No further information was available about the boy's race.
