Walter Genda, 67

Walter Alexander Genda, 67, of Galien, died at 3:16 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012, at his home after a short battle with cancer.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 1, at Hoven Funeral Home in Buchanan with the Rev. O’Ryan Rickard of Portage Prairie United Methodist Church, Niles, officiating.

Burial will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Buchanan. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
