NILES – The microsurface contractor has M-60 Business Route on their schedule for Monday, Sept. 17 through Thursday, Sept. 20. They are running out of time to finish the contract by Sept 30, according to Neil Coulston, City of Niles Public Works director.
M-51 from the State Line to M-60 Business Route will also be crack sealed. The subcontractor for this operation has not committed to a schedule, but shares the Sept. 30 deadline. They are barred from working Sept. 27-30 due to the Apple Festival.
Travelers of these roads may experience some delays, so leave extra time when planning to travel.
