ALBION – Jerry Block, Albion College head men's soccer coach, has announced his 20-man varsity roster for the 2007 season which begins Aug. 31 with a non-league match against Denison (Ohio) University.
Andy Low, the son of Kelly Low and Judy Low of Niles and a graduate of Brandywine High School, has earned a place on the Britons' roster.
Albion is looking to build on a successful 2006 season in which the team posted a 13-5-2 overall record and finished second in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) with an 11-2-1 record in league play.
In addition to the season opening contest against Denison, the Britons will host Madonna University, Manchester (Ind.) College, and Concordia (Ill.) University for non-league matches during the month of September.
Albion's schedule of home matches against MIAA rivals begins with a Sept. 22 date with Adrian College.
