NILES – A popular Niles eatery was apparently seized by its creditors on Friday night and has not re-opened.
Accompanied by sheriff's deputies, a banking official closed the Riverfront Caf/ at about 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
A hand-written sign on the restaurant's door reads that it is closed due to "difficulties."
Attempts to contact the restaurant's owners – Tom and Tammy Watson -have been unsuccessful. Banking officials have refused comment.
