NILES – The Niles girls' varsity golf team opened its season Wednesday with a win at the Kalamazoo Central Invitational.
For Niles, Sarah Crabtree shot a 106, while Lena Cramer shot 108.
In the scramble portion of the tournament, Alison Landgraf and Jordan brown shot 101, while Eliza Coqulliard and Rachel Shinskey finished with a 94.
Niles was scheduled to host St. Joseph in a scrimmage today at Hampshire Country Club in Dowagiac.
The Lady Vikings will open up defense of their Big 16 West Division championship on Tuesday, Aug. 21.
Niles will host a West Division jamboree on Monday, Sept. 17.
The team will be previewed in a special section on Aug. 24.
