Seniors reign over fair

NILES – Niles' Cameron Roth and Baroda's Chelsey Sobralski were crowned the 2007 Berrien County Youth Fair King and Queen Sunday afternoon.
Roth, 17, is entering his senior year at Brandywine High School, while Sobralski, 17, will also be a senior at Baroda High School.
First runners-up were Thomas Preston, 18, of Eau Claire and Becky Wunderlich, 17, of Niles. Preston is a sophomore at Lake Michigan College and Wunderlich will be a junior at Michigan Lutheran.
The Queen received a $250 scholarship, a $100 savings bond, a crown, jewelry, a banner and a trophy. The King received a $250 scholarship, a $100 savings bond, a medallion, jewelry, a banner and a trophy.
Children's Day is today at the fair, where school children through high school are admitted free. Discounted ride tickets will also be available until 5 p.m. Circus Continental will also be performing three free shows in the Grandstand at 1, 4 and 7 p.m.
