William Joseph Powers, Jr., 86, of Sassafras Lane, Niles, died at 10:40 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, 2007, at Buchanan Meadows Living Center, Buchanan, following a brief illness.
Committal rites with full military honors will be held at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va., at a later date, in deference to the cemetery's schedule. That ceremony will be announced and the public will be invited to attend.
Contributions in his memory may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church, Niles.
Arrangements were made to Halbritter Funeral Home, Niles.
