Mystique split games

BROWNSBURG, Ind. – The Michiana Mystique 16U softball team went 2-2 at the Indiana State Games over the weekend.
The Mystique lost to the Earthquake Gold in the opening game of the tournament, 5-3. The Mystique then fell to the Anderson Storm 7-5.
Mystique rebounded to defeat the Indiana Lightning Elite 9-2 and the Indiana Magic 12-6.

Erin Burleson, who took the loss, and Maggie Ernsberger both had two hits for the Mystique. Burleson doubled and singled.
Also picking up hits were Amanda Trimmer, Samantha Gross and Nellie Coquillard.
Trimmer and Ernsberger drove in runs for the Mystique.

Anderson Storm…7
Three runs in the bottom of the eighth lifted the Storm past the Mystique.
Brianne Widmoyer took the loss for the Mystique.
Kelci Garcia had two hits, while Nicole Nickoson and Ernsberger both doubled.
Also picking up hits were Burleson, Trimmer, Breanna Shannon, Chelly Gaeddert and Jessica McClellan.

Burleson tossed a five-hitter for the Mystique.
Garcia doubled twice and Shannon also doubled for the Mystique. Widmoyer, who had two hits, finished with a pair of RBIs.
Coquillard and Ernsberger each had hits for the Mystique. Ernsberger and Burleson were credited with RBIs.

A seven-run fifth inning helped the Mystique double up the Magic.
Widmoyer picked up the victory.
Ernsberger and Trimmer both had home runs, while Shannon finished with three hits and Coquillard two. Gaeddert had three doubles for the Mystique, who also got doubles from Shannon, Coquillard and Trimmer.
Trimmer and Shannon both drove in three runs. Ernsberger and Gaddert were credited with two RBIs each.
