Eaton Park Invitational wrapping up with title games tonight

NILES – The Eaton Park Invitational will wrap up the baseball portion of the 2007 tournament tonight with championship games.
However, due to technical difficulties, results from Sunday's games and tonight's pairings were unavailable at press time.
In Peanut League A, Niles was scheduled to face South Haven-Morrison with the winner moving on to a second game Sunday afternoon.
Tonight's championship game is slated for 6:45 p.m.
In Peanut League B, Buchanan was set to play New Buffalo and Brandywine-Duval scheduled to play Berrien Springs.
The winners will play tonight at 5:30 p.m.
Brandywine and Buchanan were both scheduled to play games on Sunday in the Minor League B Division.
Brandywine took on Hartford and Buchanan took on Three Oaks with the winners moving on to a second game on Sunday.
Tonight's championship game will be played at 7:30.
Buchanan and Brandywine still had teams alive in the Minor League C Division on Sunday.
Buchanan was to face St. Joseph, while Brandywine was scheduled to face South Haven.
The winners advanced to a second game on Sunday.
The championship game is set for 5:30 p.m. today.
Howard Township was set to face Paw Paw in Little League A Division play on Sunday with the winner advancing to a second game.
The title game is scheduled for tonight at 7:30.
In Little League B, Buchanan-Thomas was supposed to face Hartford-Traver with the winner advancing to a second game on Sunday.
The championship contest is slated for 7:15 tonight.
In Little League C action on Sunday, Howard Township took on Lakeshore with the winner advancing to the title game at 5:30 p.m. today.
Buchanan was scheduled to face Coloma/Hager in Pony Division play on Sunday with the winner moving on to a second game.
The championship game is scheduled to be played tonight at 6.

Alex Kilgore had three hits and three RBIs for Buchanan, while also got three hits and two RBIs from Justin Cowles.

A 10-run first inning propelled Berrien Springs to victory.
Nate Pierce had a single for Branywine.

Brandywine scored single runs in the first three frames to pick up the win.
Toby Fox had two hits for Brandywine.

A five-run fifth inning broke the game open for North Lincoln.

Dowagiac opened up a 5-2 lead on Paw Paw and then held on for the victory.
Brandon Hatch had three doubles, while Scott Hassle singled and doubled.

Dowagiac…7
Dowagiac scored three runs in the first and second innings to defeat North Lincoln.
Brandon Hatch and Matt Smith both doubled for Dowagiac, which also got two hits each from Jeremiah Guernsey and Trent Lesniak.

A three-run fourth inning sealed the victory for Watervliet.
Matt Vaughn had three hits for Brandywine.

Buchanan broke open a close game with five runs in the second inning.
Buchanan followed that up with six runs in the third.
Jacob Larsen had a single, a double and four RBIs for Buchanan, which also got two singles and three RBIs from Todd Wagner.

Hartford out hit Buchanan 5-2 in picking up the victory.
A.J. Reed and Alex Leiter had the two hits for Buchanan.

Brandywine scored a run in the top of the ninth to pull out the victory.
Tyrin Libertowski had a pair of singles and two RBIs. Chanc Ravish added a single and a run batted in.

Howard Township scored all five of its runs in the fourth inning to take the victory.
Fritz Findeisen doubled twice and singled for Howard Township, which also got two hits from Ben Getz.

Brandywine grabbed a 5-4 lead after one inning and then increased it to 9-4 with a four-run third inning.
Howard Township came back with five runs in the bottom of the third to tie the game at 9-9.
Brandywine scored three times in the fourth to pick up the victory.
Michael Geiger had a single and three RBIs to lead Brandywine. Ryan Becker had a single and two RBIs.
Howard Township was led by Kevin Gallge who singled twice and drove in two runs. Gary Sherman also had two hits. Duston Rockey doubled and drove in a run.

Buchanan scored six runs in the first inning and five runs in the fourth inning to knock off Hartford.
Bryan Kuntz homered for Buchanan, which also got two singles and a home run from Tony Parris. Ryan Catalouto singled and homered as well for Buchanan.
Brandon Jackson finished with three hits, while Keven Day singled twice and doubled.
