Niles R.A.P. blanks Dawgs

NILES – David Shier scored a pair of goals to lead Niles R.A.P. to a 3-0 victory over the visiting Dowagiac Dawgs Friday night at Niles High School.
The win lifted Niles' record in the Blossomland Soccer League to 3-6-1.
Dowagiac fell to 1-8-1 with the loss.
Colin Freas scored the other goal for Niles.

Stampede…1
P&R FC improved to 7-3 on the season with the 5-1 win over the Red Arrow Stampede on Friday night at Ott Field in Bridgman.
Casey Janick scored a pair of goals to lead P&R to the victory.
P&R also got goals from Terry Wakefield, Steve Pomeroy and T.J. Sater.
Steven Petro scored the lone goal for the Stampede, who drop to 0-10 on the year.
St. Joe Kickers…5
Diamonds United…3
The host St. Joe Kickers remained in the thick of the Blossomland Soccer League title chase with a 5-3 victory over Diamonds United, which was tied for first place in the league heading into Sunday.
Jason Girvan, Andrew Girvan, Andrew Maier and Nick Sherrill all scored for the Kickers, who improved to 8-1-1 on the season. The Kickers also got an own goal from Diamonds United.
The Diamonds, who are now 8-1-1, got goals from Claston Reid, Jonatan Martinez and Normanh Ramirez.
St. Stephens Villains…3
Tornados…2
Rob Grashorn scored a pair of goals and Shane Bookwalter the other as the Villains edged the Tornados at Rockey Weed Field in Stevensville.
The Villains are now 4-5-1 on the season.
Andy Low and Jay Suckle scored for the Tornados, who dip to 4-5-1 as well.
