NILES – The 2007 Niles Classic begins play today at Thomas Stadium..
The annual tournament is slated to kick off at 1 p.m. with Post 143 taking on Post 161.
In other games on Friday, Post 50 will take on Post 204 at 3:30 p.m., while Post 163 will face Niles SC at 6 p.m.
Niles BR will take on the Blues in the final game of the night at 8:30 p.m.
All games on Friday will be played at Thomas Stadium.
The tournament will continue on Saturday morning with Post 163 facing Post 143 at Thomas Stadium beginning at 10.
Also being played at Thomas on Saturday will be Post 161 taking on Post 16 at 12:30 p.m.; Post 204 playing the Blues at 3 p.m.; Niles BR taking on Post 50 at 5:30 p.m.; and Post 204 facing Niles BR at 8 p.m.
Over at Niles High School on Saturday, Post 161 will face Niles SC at 9 a.m.
Also being played at the high school will be the Blues facing Post 50 at 11:30 a.m. and Post 143 facing Niles SC at 2 p.m.
The tournament will wrap up on Sunday at Thomas Stadium with four games.
Game times are scheduled for 10:30 a.m., 1 p.m., 3:30 and the championship game at 6 p.m.
