Bloossomland soccer league heats up; Real Dowagiac now 5-0

Real Dowagiac improved to 5-0 with a 4-3 victory over Whirlpool United on Thursday at Southwestern Michigan College.
Ishmael Hernandez, Rodolfo Hernandez, Octavio Hernandez and Mauricio Mancera all scored for Dowagiac.
Whirlpool United (2-1-1) got its goals from Dennis Morais, Sean Lindy and Tomas Diaz.
St. Joe Kickers…11
Internationals…0
Tony Black and Kyle Brogan both recorded hat tricks as the St. Joe Kickers blanked the Berrien Springs Internationals 11-0 at the Kickers Club in Arden on Thursday.
The Kickers also got a pair of goals from Jason Girvan and Kyle Hammermeister. Nick Lesch scored the other goal for St. Joe, which improved to 3-0-1 on the season.
The Internationals are now 1-4.

Red Arrow Stampede…0
Eric Williamson scored four goals and Hans Koppenhoefer three goals as Dura Mold squared its record at 2-2.
Josh Phillips added a pair of goals for Dura Mold, while Adam Hess and Kyle Boehm completed the scoring.
The Stampede fell to 0-5 on the season.

Dowagiac Dawgs…2
The Villains and Dawgs played to a 2-2 draw at Rockey Weed Field in Stevensville on Thursday.
Clay Hewitt and Matt Joanis scored for Dowagiac, which is now 1-3-1 on the year.
The Villains, 0-3-1, got their goals from Randy Hyrns and Aaron Soule.
