Brandywine runners still undefeated

NILES – The Brandywine boys' track team continued its dominance of the Lakeland Conference Wednesday afternoon.
The Bobcats visited Edwardsburg and posted a 73-55 victory, keeping them undefeated in the LAC with a 6-0 record.
The Brandywine girls' team fell to the Eddies, 113-9.
Placing first on the day for the Bobcats were Kyle Jones, who had a throw of 44-feet-7 in the shot put and 121-7 in the discus.
The 3,200 meter relay team of Tyler Weedon, Kyle Low, Ricky Wood and Brian Wieger posted a time of 8:28.8.
Caleb Frazier finsihed the 100 meter dash with a time of 11.5
J.D. Miller, Brett Gilpin, Josh Benjamin and Justin Price ended the 800 meter relay with a time of 1:38, while Gilpin, Benjamin, Taylor Brenner and Miller ended the 400 meter relay with a time of 46.7
Price posted a time of 51.6 in the 400 meter dash and a time of 23.3 in the 200 meter dash. Weedon had a time of 10:54.8 in the 3,200 meter run, and the 1,600 meter relay team of Frazier, Lance Tallaferro, Wood and Price ended with a time of 3:37.2.
For the Lady Bobcats, Dawn Smith had a throw of 25-feet-4 in the shot put to earn her second place.
Ashley Harrell earned second when she ended the 3,200 meter run with a time of 13:34.3.
The track teams will travel to Bridgman for their finalregular season meet on Monday.
