ST. JOSEPH – All persons interested in working with the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA) Midwest regional cups competition are invited to a volunteer meeting on Sunday, May 6, 2007 at 7 p.m. at the Park Inn Hotel, located on Red Arrow Highway.
The meeting will be held in the conference center.
Finalization of all plans will be discussed along with discussions of areas of assignment.
It is critical all parties who have made commitments to serve a role in the competition be at the meeting.
Additional volunteers are still needed. No experience is required; just a willingness to participate in one of the largest sporting events to come to Southwest Michigan.
The Stevensville and Saint Joseph communities will host the 2007 Midwest Regional Finals of the USASA on June 14-17, 2007, with 1,000 participants coming to the area.
The event will showcase the state champions of 14 states in the region vying for regional championships in eight divisions and will require the help of many area residents.
