Dowagiac Rotary Club hosts a “Family and Friends Evening Dinner Meeting” on April 19.
The program will feature local history presentations by three students taught by Jeff Dennis of Southwestern Michigan College’s Social Sciences Department.
With the assistance of Steven Arseneau, the SMC museum director, students explored the museum’s historical archives on the Dowagiac campus, then developed their research into memorable presentations.
The event takes place at Dowagiac Elks Lodge 889, 300 Riverside Drive.
Doors open at 6 p.m. with appetizers and a cash bar. Dinner is at 6:30 p.m. and the program follows. Reservations required.
