Brandywine blows past LMC

NILES – The Brandywine basketball team made a quick adjustment during the first half of Thursday's consolation game, which allowed the Bobcats to take an 80-37 win over Lake Michigan Catholic.
The Bobcats fell behind 8-2 early in the first quarter and ended the period tied at 14 with the Lakers.
A strong second quarter performance saw the Bobcats jump to a 40-21 lead, never looking back.
Bill Bussey led a balanced Brandywine offense with 21 points, while Josh Benjamin and Noah Udell each added 12 and Caleb Frazier had 11.
All 10 players that took to the court for Brandywine scored.
For Lake Michigan Catholic, Michael Kurina and Kenny Crowder each had nine points.
The Bobcats are now 4-3 on the season.
