NILES – The Brandywine varsity volleyball team couldn't pull out a win against the tough River Valley Mustangs Wednesday.
The Bobcats fell in three games, 25-13, 25-20 and 26-24.
"If we only had one more game," head coach Martin Klubeck said. "The undersized, undermanned Bobcats put up a good fight after getting over the first game jitters, but couldn't pull out a win."
Brandywine star hitter Kendra Zache is out indefinitely with an injury.
The Bobcats have a few weeks off before returning to the court on Jan. 10 against Cassopolis.
