Jayme-Ayne Peregrine, 59, formerly of Cassopolis, passed Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011, at her residence in Niles.  She was born Feb. 7, 1952, in Elkhart County, Ind., to Howard and Velma Walker.  She married her true love, Larry Peregrine, on Aug. 21, 1999 in Bristol, Ind.

She was an antique dealer as well as a certified appraiser of antiquities and jewelry, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Bristol, Indiana, and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She worked with Jerry Lewis in the 1970s on the Jerry Lewis Telethon. She also had a life-long love for German shepherds.

Jayme-Ayne is survived by her husband, Larry Peregrine of Niles; two daughters, Mackenzie Jade Adamek of Guam and Terry Ann (Brian) Tomasi of Osceola; one son, Scott (Kelly) Rich of Fairmount, Ind.; five grandchildren, Michael and Nick Rich, Bryce Tomasi, Evan Peregrine and Gabby Peregrine; one sister, Patricia (Denver) McCreary; and brother, Larry Paschal.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Frances Paschal and Linda Walker.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, 2011, at Connelly Chapel Wagner Family Funerals, 202 North Broadway St., Cassopolis.  Memorial service will be Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011, at 11 a.m.  Please bring stories and joy to share with friends and family.
