Author Cheri Hallwood and illustrator Patricia Rose, both of Niles, will sign their latest book from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Majerek’s Reader’s World, 217 E. Main St. in Niles.
“One Wish for Winifred Witch,” a children’s hardback book, sells for $17.99 and comes with a bookmark.
“One Wish for Winifred Witch” is a rhyming children’s picture book about a little witch with a big problem — she’s afraid of the dark. Her fear just might keep her from going out on Halloween. What is she to do? Winifred asks the wise Aunt Broomhilda for help.
Hallwood and Rose have won Mom’s Choice awards for all three of their books.  The other two, “Winter’s First Snowflake” and “The Curious Polka-Dot Present” will also be available for purchase. There will be a drawing for a free copy of “Winifred” to anyone that puts their name in during the book signing (no purchase necessary).
