I enjoyed doing the story on Justin Gillette earlier this week. He not only is a very interesting person to talk to, but he has a bright feature ahead of him.
The entire time I was interviewing him he was hard at work on his family's farm and had quite a few interesting stories to tell.
The one thing that was very upsetting to me was the fact that people can be so cruel. It honestly didn't surprise me when he told me about being shot by a BB gun and having things thrown at him. People can be so mean. I just want to know what they think have accomplished by physically hurting an innocent person? All I can say is what goes around comes around and their day will come.

I know this has nothing to do with sports, but I have to say something about it.
For all of you myspacer's out there, I can now see why it is so addicting! For those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, I'll explain.
I was talking with my boyfriend's sister, Kim, last week on the internet and as we were getting ready to sign off she asked, “when are you going to get a myspace page?” I had heard about myspace, but never really looked it up. I just figured it was more for junior high and high school kids. “I don't know,” I said, and she demanded that I get one so we could talk and share pictures and what not.
So, needless to say I gave in. She came over and helped me set up my page and the rest is history. I am officially a myspace addict!
If you've never heard of it, myspace.com is a website where people can set up cool websites about themselves. They can add pictures, talk to people, take surveys … its got just about everything. It's also very easy and fun and, instead of using e-mailing and instant messaging, people can keep in touch with friends and family simply by posting bulletins or public messages on someone's website.
At first, I didn't know what I had gotten myself into, but now I don't regret it one bit. I have found a lot of people I went to high school with and have even met some new friends. Check it out if you haven't already, but I will warn you … once your in space, you're never comin' back! The only downfall is the fact that, unless you have a private profile, anyone can get in your business. It's also known as a hot spot to sexual predators, so parents, just keep an eye on who your children are talking to.
Exactly how big is myspace.com? Well, it's only two years old and has two and a half times the traffic that Google and Yahoo have. And, if that's not big enough, it sold for $580 million dollars. Why can't I think of something like this?
