LANSING - State Rep. Neal Nitz Thursday expressed disappointment in Senate approval of an amendment proposed by the Granholm administration to decrease state funding for retail access to renewable fuels.
Currently, there are only four gas stations that carry renewable fuels in Michigan.
Nitz introduced legislation in February to create a service station matching grant program to provide state matching grants to gas stations.  The stations convert their pumps to handle E85, gasoline containing 85-percent ethanol, and biodiesel.
