NILES - Niles FOP Little League will be conducting it's annual Ice Cream Social fundraiser on Saturday at FOP Park.
Activities will begin at 9 a.m. with the Optimist Skills test. This is open to all 6- 12 year old children from the Niles area and involves competitions in running bases, throwing and hitting.
Awards will be distributed immediately following the competition.
The Ice Cream Social activities include mini baseball games beginning at 11:30 a.m., a home run derby at 2 p.m. and a game between the Minor league coaches and the Major league coaches at 2:30 p.m..
Chicken and sausage dinners are available for purchase for $5 starting at 11 a.m.
The public is welcome to attend this event and support Niles FOP Little League.
