Niles bowling teams fall in match play at Huskies Invitational

KALAMAZOO — The Niles girls and boys varsity bowling teams traveled to Kalamazoo Continental Lanes Sunday for the Husky Invitational.
The boys competed against eight girls teams and 14 Boys teams from all around the state. Each team bowling tied an individual game and eight baker games to move into match play.
Niles sophomore Miley Kater placed first in singles with a 339 Series and senior Hunter Kater A placed fifth in individuals with a 401 Series.
The girls team finished sixth and the boys team finished seventh to advance to match play, where the boys fell in the first round. The girls team won their first baker game, tying Hastings before losing 128-129 in the roll off.
