Niles boys hoops beats Lakeshore 53-42

STEVENSVILLE — The Niles boys basketball team took care of business at Lakeshore Friday night.

The Vikings defeated the Lancers 53-42 in their first game of 2025. Niles led 21-12 at halftime and by as many as 23 in the game.

Andre Wells led Niles in scoring with 18 points and added six rebounds and four assists. Brayden Favors added 16 points and three rebounds, Derrick Hill tallied 13 points and four rebounds and Donovyn Williams totaled five points, 10 rebounds and two blocks.

Luke Heyn led Lakeshore with nine points and five assists and Garrett Thomas added eight points.

Niles (5-4) faces Edwardsburg (3-3) at 7:15 p.m. Friday at Edwardsburg.
