DOWAGIAC — Pageantry returns to Dowagiac in January. 

The 2025 Miss Dowagiac Scholarship Pageant will be held Saturday, January 11, at the Dowagiac Middle School Performing Arts Center. Fifteen contestants will be vying for College of Choice Scholarships as well as for an opportunity to serve as Miss Dowagiac. Each will be judged based on personal interviews and pageant night presentation skills including platform speeches. The pageant production will also feature a performance by dancers from Green Dance Academy.

Advance ticket sales have ended.  Venue doors will open at 6 p.m. for ticket sales the night of pageant and the show will begin at 7 pm. The ticket price is $15 each, and must be paid by cash or check, payable to Dowagiac Chamber of Commerce.

Attendees on pageant night will have the opportunity to wish their favorite contestants well by purchasing “happy” messages and/or flowers that will be gifted to the contestants backstage after the production begins.
