January 10, 1946 – December 4, 2024
Laurel Jacob Hamilton, 78, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, in Mishawaka, Indiana.
Laurel was born on January 10, 1946 in Goshen, Indiana to the late Louise (Rink) Hay.
Laurel was preceded in death by his mother, Louise Hay and step-father, Roy Hay.
Left to cherish the memory of Laurel is his loving wife of many years, Kathy (Krassow) Hamilton.
An avid hunter and fisherman, he spent countless hours in the serenity of nature. Laurel’s passion for mechanics shone brightly as he meticulously worked on cars, even building his own from scratch. He found joy in the exhilarating sounds of NASCAR and was an ardent fan of Michigan Football.
Laurel’s love for his German Shepherds was unmatched, and he cherished the loyal companionship they provided. Friends meant the world to him, and he valued the time spent in good company, often immersed in conversation or enjoying a quiet day outdoors. Laurel’s legacy is one of a life well-lived, rooted in the things he loved most. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to inspire all who knew him to appreciate the simple joys in life.
