Search warrant leads to drug arrests in Volinia Township

VOLINIA TOWNSHIP — A narcotics investigation led to the arrest of four individuals Wednesday in Volinia Township, according to the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team.

CCDET detectives conducted a search warrant in the 16000 block of Church St. in Volinia Township Wednesday where detectives detained six individuals at the residence. While searching the residence, detectives located methamphetamine, methamphetamine paraphernalia, and stolen property. 

Detectives arrested a 28-year-old female for outstanding warrants, a 54-year-old male for resisting and obstructing, possession of methamphetamine, and outstanding warrants, a 27-year-old male for resisting and obstructing and possession of methamphetamine and a 30- year-old male for possession of methamphetamine, possession of stolen property, and outstanding warrants. 

The suspect’s names are being withheld pending arraignment on the charges in the 4th district court. The investigation is still on-going at this time. Agencies assisting with the search warrant were the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, and K-9 Neera.
