Six arrested in LaGrange Township drug bust

LAGRANGE TOWNSHIP — An inter-agency law enforcement team arrested six people Tuesday in connection with illegal narcotics and stolen property in LaGrange Township, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.
The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team worked an investigation along with Berrien County Detectives for stolen property. Detectives located stolen property at an address in the 24000 block of Peavine St. in LaGrange Township and located a large amount of methamphetamine and methamphetamine paraphernalia.
Detectives arrested a 37-year-old male for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, a 35-year-old male for possession of methamphetamine, a 29-year-old female for possession of methamphetamine, a 21-year-old male for outstanding warrants, a 39-year-old male for outstanding warrants, and a 37-year-old female for outstanding warrants. Detectives are requesting charges on other suspects in reference to possession of stolen property.
The suspects’ names are being withheld pending arraignment on the charges in the 4th district court. The investigation is still ongoing at this time. Agencies assisting with the investigation were the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, and Berrien County Sheriff’s Office.
