DOWAGIAC — The Dowagiac volleyball team swept Brandywine 3-0 in Lakeland Conference play. The Chieftains took set one 25-11, set two 25-16 and set three 25-21.

“We came into this conference game ready to go,” said head coach Amber Todd. “Over the past few weeks we have made changes to our defense and offense to prepare for conference play. As a team we are consistently serving at a high percentage, now we are starting to target zones and add more power in order to get the other team out of system. We will continue to lower unforced errors and get our hitters hitting at high hitting percentages.”

Dowagiac (11-14-0, 2-0) faces Kalamazoo Loy Norrix at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Loy Norrix.
