NILES — The Niles football team extended its win streak to three games Friday night against visiting Otsego.

The Vikings jumped out to a 56-point lead and went on to win 56-0.

Sam Rucker scored five touchdowns on seven carries totaling 143 yards and Paul Hess had eight carries for 121 yards and one touchdown while Elijah Norris added seven for 55 and a touchdown. Quarterback Talen Bennett completed 3 of 5 passes for 64 yards and a touchdown pass to Brenden Olsen, who caught two passes for 60 yards. The Vikings outgained the Bulldogs 466-47 in total yards.

On defense, Bryce Young led the team in tackles with five and Brandon Hamilton, Ward Cheney and Sam Rucker each had a sack. 

The Vikings (3-1, 2-0) host Sturgis at 7 p.m. Friday.
