BUCHANAN — The Buchanan football team took care of business Friday night against Benton Harbor. The Bucks dominated both sides of the ball on their way to a 47-6 win over the Tigers. Five different Bucks found the end zone on the ground: Leland Payne (nine carries for 92 yards), Gabe Tompkins (seven carries, 73 yards), Jake Franklin (two carries, 29 yards), Tristan Nesbitt (17-yard touchdown) and Max Cornelius (two carries, 14 yards). Jake Franklin completed 1 of 1 passes for 13 yards.

On defense, Isaiah Nelson led the team with six tackles and Ryann Hickok had five tackles and one sack, Ethan Frame tallied a sack and Nesbitt had an interception.

The Bucks (2-2,1-0) face rival Brandywine (0-4,0-1)at 7 p.m. Friday in the Bobcats’ homecoming game.
