DeMario Leon “Dmo” Wicker, 33, of Niles, died Sunday, September 8, 2024. 

His life began June 20, 1991, in Niles, Michigan, the second of three boys born to Lawrence Wicker and Marie Gibson.

Dmo was a loving and kind person. He would give the shirt off his back to his family and friends if they needed. He had a bubbly and outgoing personality. He was silly and funny.

Dmo will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his mother, Marie (Allen) Gibson of Niles; father, Lawrence Wicker of South Bend, Indiana; brothers, DeAngelio Wicker of South Bend, Indiana, DelShawn (Amanda) Wicker of Cassopolis, Demetrius Wicker of South Bend, Indiana; sister, Shalece Wicker of Indianapolis, Indiana; Godmother, Tina Ballard of Elkhart, Indiana; Godfather, Terrance Doyle of Texas; aunts, Kathryn Burnett of Louisville, Kentucky, Sherhonda Wares of Elkhart, Indiana, Tina Doyle of Three Rivers, Lina Doyle of Tennessee, Elayne (Curtis) Scott of South Bend, Indiana, Tori (Dewayne) Moore of South Bend, Indiana, Clara Moore of Elkhart, Indiana; uncles, David (Octavia) Doyle, Wilson Doyle, both of Elkhart, Indiana; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Delois Doyle, George Clark, Sr., Wilhelmina Orr; uncle, George Clark II; and cousin, George Clark III. 

Family and friends will gather for a burial at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 21, 2024, in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Cassopolis, where DeMario will be laid to rest beside his grandmother, uncle, and cousin.

The family prefers contributions in memory of Dmo be made to the American Heart Association, Post Office Box 840692, Dallas, Texas 75284-0692.
