BUCHANAN — The Buchanan soccer team had to settle for a 1-1 draw against Berrien Springs Tuesday.

The Bucks led 1-0 at halftime on Caden McMahan’s third goal of the season.

“We played outstanding defensively,” said Buchanan Coach Ryan Haines. Eventually, the speed and athleticism of Berrien Springs got the best of us and they scored on the near post. Charley had some great saves tonight from point-blank range and we were able to make some good passing sequences through the middle third.”
