Sister Lakes Lions Club, Dowagiac soccer and wrestling hosting golf outings

EAU CLAIRE — Summertime is golf outing season throughout southwest Michigan.

With the summer season heading into its final two months, there is still time to take part in golf outings.

The inaugural Sister Lakes Lions Golf Club Outing is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 7 at Pipestone Creek Golf Course in Eau Claire.

The outing is limited to the first 100 paid golfers.

Cost is $400 for a foursome, which includes 18 holes of golf and a cart, hot dog or brat at the turn, dinner afterward at the course, games and gimmicks, prizes, raffles and trophies.

There will also be prizes awarded to first and second place, longest drive (men and wome) and closest to the pin.

Hole sponsorships are also available.

A gold sponsorship is $500, which includes sign displayed on course and four golfers. A silver sponsorship is $100, which includes sign displayed on golf course.

Dowagiac Big Hole Scramble

The Dowagiac soccer and wrestling Big Hole Scramble is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 14 at Spruce Ridge Golf Club.

Cost is $240 per team (four people) or $60 per person, which includes a meal after golf is completed.

There will also be $20 mulligans and $20 team skins, as well as prizes for closest to the pin, longest drive and a 50/50 drawing.

Hole sponsorships are available.

A platinum sponsorship is $500, which includes a name on the flag, an extra-large name on the golf banner, and a team entry.

A gold sponsorship is $200, which includes name on flag and large name on banner, while a silver sponsorship is $100, which includes name on flag and medium name on banner.
