EDWARDSBURG — Community members can prepare to jam out at a popular concert series returning to the village tonight.

Edwardsburg Sports Complex’s annual O’Those Summer Nights Concert Series kicks off at 7 p.m. tonight at 27566 US 12 with music from the Sandbar Bums. 

Tickets cost $10 with proceeds going directly to ESC. Guests are asked to bring blankets and chairs and Food and beverages will be available; organizers ask that no coolers be brought.

It’s something to look forward to during the summer,” said ESC’s Caitlin Ferguson. “It’s something we would like to continue doing going forward. We have some great local bands we’re partnering with.”

All concerts will begin at 7 p.m. The concert series schedule includes:

June 28 – Sandbar Bums

July 12 – Hideous Business

August 9 – Coal Mine canaries

August 23 – Delusions of Granger

Also taking place at ESC this weekend is Coerver Camp’s Shotmaking and Goalkeeping Camp.

From Saturday, June 29 to Wednesday, July 3, athletes ages 11-16 will meet from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the ESC to work on different technical and tactical aspects of their development. Camp cost is $200 which includes uniforms and food.
